F&FII's from element600rr's ride, centric (powerslot) slotted rotors and ebc reds..

Re: Another Prelude Story

Driving fast on a back road at night, on a back road, with your girl in the car? You gotta start thinking of others man. You're lucky as hell you didn't flip or slide into a tree on your passenger side and possibly injuring your girlfriend. I'm only 19, but I know there is a time and a place to have some fun with your car, and that time is never with someone else in the car. Also, your insurance company must love you. I'm not trying to lecture, just be careful next time.

Dang man this sucks good that you and your girl are okay. And luckily I've been able to learn to keep the racing going fast at the track with some super close calls and nothing bad happening.

Dude…seriously? You got to stop with that wrecking Ludes thing. It makes me sad. Maybe night driving and after-storm driving are something you should stay away from for a while……………………….But I'm glad both of you are okay.

Glad your okay but next time be more careful. Know your limits and when you can push them and how far. Accidents happen and we learn from them.

Re: Another Prelude Story

Are you ****ing kidding me? It's not my car but that was DAMN clean fifth gen, it didn't deserve to be driven fast into logs. I'm glad you're OK, but at this point you don't deserve another Honda. Go get a GM, they don't have any value to begin with. I understand your want for a nice and sporty car, but honestly you'd be better off with something more common, and not so sought-after by us true Honda fanatics. At least, us true Honda fanatics that don't drive **** into logs. Plus, why the hell would you drive a car fast on it's "birthday"? At 100,000 miles I'd be giving my baby a wash/clay bar/polish/wax, fluid change, and interior detail. I wouldn't be giving it hell after a thunderstorm. Good going, clean Preludes just got 1 car more rare... ****!

Re: Another Prelude Story

glad you are ok,

but like everybody else here is saying, dont buy another lude, cause if this happened twice, you are bound to do it again... and i eventually want to buy a 5th gen, clean running, or dirty and not running, idc, but i want one so stop wrecking them... 2nd time in 6 months???????

thats unbelieveable... they should have something where if you wreck the same car twice in a year you should have it stamped on your license not to drive that car ever again. just saying.

if you go against our advice, then stop the wreckless behavior, and let that wisdom from the past 2 sink in next time you get behind the wheel. i crashed my parents chevy malibu, hit a tree doing 80, blew a .35 on the breathalizer due to half a bottle of everclear. **** makes you feel invincible i know, made it threw 2 towns doing 80-100 on 25 mph to 40 mph roads, and didnt hit the tree till i was down the street from my house... safe to say, i dont drive like an asshole anymore, i follow the speed limit, unless im on a highway or if im gonna be late for something, i still have fun and take tight turns at high speeds, but i dont bite off more than i can chew. i know my limits.

or maybe, did your parents buy you these ludes? cause you would have a lot more appreciation for them if you payed for them yourself.

Re: Another Prelude Story

As long as everyone is ok that is the main thing, very sad to see Such a nice lude go like that thought :(. Still makes me wonder why after a thunderstorm and at night you would take the lude for a "fast rip", especially with your girl, any bang up or accident i've been in were by myself except one ( none of them were my fault ! just other bad drivers ). I agree Crash when if my Lude was just ticking over to 100k i'd be spending the entire day doing a full inside and out clean and fluid top up and inspection.

funny you say that; some people never learn. there was a kid a few towns away from me. parents bought him a 5th gen, wrecked. they buy him a wrx, wrecked. next they got him an STI. he tried showing off for people in his car. was going almost 100, around a corner. tried to pass like 3 cars. another car came head on. he tried to merge back, hit the back of a uhaul type truck and killed everyone in the car. his little sister and friend were 2 of the 3 occupants. then his parents tried suing the driver of the truck saying it was his fault. a little off topic I know. a little off topic I know, but some people just shouldn't own faster cars

Same thing happened to a sophomore at my hightschool a few years back. Parents bought him a used 08 wrx... A month later, he rolled it 4 times with 3 people in the car. His best friend broke his neck and femur, but everyone else was okay. A week later his parents bought him a BRAND NEW '11 wrx. Fuxin rich kids with stupid ass parents. I'd buy that kid a geo metro if that sh!t happened.

happens alot around me too... one side of my town has rich parents, kids all driving around in beamers, new gtis, wrx stis, new hondas that there parents customize for them, funny thing is they think they are hot ****, but then turns ugly because they act stupid to try to impress people... the side of town i live on youll find all the civics, and old jettas, turbo neons, either bought with drug money or saved money from working whatever jobs, my boy bought down the street from me bought his jetta for over $2000, it is a mk3 saved up using money he made with pizza delivery money... but im getting off topic,
theres been 3 of those accidents this year, kids racing their cars through the backroads over here, all wooded, has bridges and ****, trying to impress their friends, and usually in the cases im talking about, they all 4 end up dead. or just the driver survives. (the driver is the safest in any car, imo). YOU SIR ARE LUCKY YOU DIDNT END UP DEAD, OR KILL YOUR GIRLFRIEND, HER SIDE HIT THE TREE... what has she said about this?? are you still dating? cause my girl would be FURIOUS if i did that ****....
and speaking of getting car after car after car, my first car i got handed down the line. my brothers first car, then my sisters first car, then my first car... my brother blew the engine, replaced, my sister smashed up the front end, replaced, i totaled it. parents never gave me ANYTHING again, except for help with legal bills so I can stay out of jail.
EVERYTHING I own, I paid for, unless its help furthering my future, like education, and tools for my trade. small set. Thats where the appreciation comes in, and the wreckless driving leaves. the risk of ruining something so precious to you, that you dont go driving after a big storm at nighttime.
sorry for bashing, i dont wanna offend you to much, a little bit, i just want you to gain the wisdom that can be gained from this second time.... and for real, i hope you save up and buy yourself your next lude, so you can feel the same appreciation that all of us feel, and then next time you see one of these threads, you can tell the guy you used to be, the same thing we are telling you, because you will get it!!!! STOP!

Im done now, this topic just pisses me off so much

sorry for bashing, i dont wanna offend you to much, a little bit, i just want you to gain the wisdom that can be gained from this second time.... and for real, i hope you save up and buy yourself your next lude, so you can feel the same appreciation that all of us feel, and then next time you see one of these threads, you can tell the guy you used to be, the same thing we are telling you, because you will get it!!!! STOP!

Im done now, this topic just pisses me off so much
I summariseeeeee

Otay, Rich kids live down street from him, he lives in not rich kid neighborhood and lives in honda land. Den dey crash der cars. Den he all like, i got a hand me down car and blew it up after everyone else in mah fammy blewd it up. Re: Another Prelude Story

daaaaamn! if i ever crash my car i aint gonna ask you guys for a ride home!
just kidding. dude seemed to be kinda proud of braking ANOTHER car.
i had a neighbor that crashed a lot and bragged about it. he'd fix up cars spending mommy's $ and first day out it would come home on a wrecker or didn't come back. cars, trucks, bikes. he never saw how uncool he really was in the eyes of the folks he tried to impress.
i had to give the guy credit though when he took a samuri underside and bolted it to a golf cart that would soon after go 75 mph. then there was the motorized barstool.
last time i saw him he was living with a rich girl and spending her dad's $.
now to szeth's defense my wife was driving after a storm had a tree literally jump in front of her. she kept it between the ditches with a chunk of tree in her lap. i married her the next day and 5 years later still glad i did!!
