Prelude with Accord gearbox?

Hey!

My Preludes gearbox has left this earth and I'm searching for a new one..
The problem is that I can't find any boxes anywhere.., the only ones I find is from Accords 2,0l..

My question is if the Accord box will fit my 5th gen Prelude H22 with no mods?

Don't care about the gear ratio, just want something to drag my auto forward.

Re: Prelude with Accord gearbox?

any F or H series will work !!!!!UNLESS!!!!!! you have the SH model, then your pretty much stuck with having to find the SH tranny. Also would help if you told us if you are manual or automatic.

Re: Prelude with Accord gearbox?

if i were british and called a trannyba gear box i'd probably mean stick shift.
if i said drag my auto forward i'd probably mean car.
but i'm not british. if he had said boot i'd definitely know he didn't mean automatic transmission or a shoe

Re: Prelude with Accord gearbox?

Edit button does exist. Just saying for future reference. Any f or h for a stick..not sure about the shifting part for an auto trans though.
