Icon5 Buying A 2001 Honda Prelude

Hi I am looking for a 2001 Blue Honda Prelude and was wondering if 167,000 miles is a lot for this generation.

Just go off of average... I think average miles on a car is around 10,000 a year. So if you do the math, that is a little bit much. Based on average it should be around 110,000 miles. But is this prelude a manual or auto? Because this can change a lot of things.

Oh. Okay, no it's not really that bad. If it we're auto, you'd probably need to rebuild your tranny. But, no that doesn't sound like a lot too me.

yup. give us some details on the car so we can give you a better opinion. if its had regular maintenance done and has a clean history at the right price, then go for it. will this be your daily driver or project car?

Re: Buying A 2001 Honda Prelude

My 99 manual has 185,300 and still runs and drives great. Needs a trans fluid flush, but it's great otherwise.
