Maxed out my GC Coilovers but still have wheel gap??

I maxed out my coils today and I still have a lot of room to lower it still, I can fit my fingers in between the tire and fender very easily. I bought camber kits maybe it will help me go lower. Does anyone know why I can't go all the way to my tires??

I know that I have big wheels, but this shouldn't be a big problem because I still have wheel gap!

Camber kits will not help you go lower.
Did you install them right? What shocks? Cut the bumpstops?

^ Your original statement. That's not their purpose.

And are you sure you want to be that low on Tokico blues? They are only meant to be factory replacements. Better get another shock, before your Tokicos blow.

Also, you may have switched the rear and front coilovers during your install, this will cause the front to sit higher.

I got the coils installed by my local garage, and i thought tokico blues were good enough to be lowered?

Jack up the car and read me the numbers on your Eibach springs in the front and I'll tell you whether they are on correctly or not.

Tokico HP shocks "Tokico blues" are not recommended (by Tokico) to be driven on if you are lower than 1.5" from stock. If you do, you are running the risk of blowing them prematurely.

Re: Maxed out my GC Coilovers but still have wheel gap??

toss out those ****ty tokico blues and get some KYB AGX's or Koni Yellows. Those bump stop things or whatever that slide inside the coils on the shock shaft(whatever it's called) They're usless, cause they're just going to tear apart over time
