Re: JDM ITR steering wheel

Your best bet is to take off your steering wheel and compare them to eachother to see what would be needing cutting or anything like that. I don't know if you can though, I've only seen the sk2 wheel and accord euro-r steering wheel in our 5th gens.

Re: JDM ITR steering wheel

^I don't remember seeing cruise control buttons on the one my friend had in his car though I wasn't looking for them lol. I'll have to see if he modded them into the wheel cause I know he still has his cruise control.

Re: JDM ITR steering wheel

So the answer is no it will not work. I pick it up for cheap so i thought of using it. Mainly because it has no airbag, and I hate airbags with a passion. I had one break my nose in my old 5th gen. So that being said there is no way it will work it is out of a 98 DC2 ITR.

Re: JDM ITR steering wheel

LOL you hate airbags? Which would you prefer a broken nose or your face/head slamming into the steering wheel possibly causing damage worse then a broken nose like brain damage and so on. Airbags were made for a reason.

Re: JDM ITR steering wheel

Airbags don't do much damage to your face...and if you consider what happens without it then it doesn't more help than harm....wear your seatbelt and it won't hit you as hard.

Re: JDM ITR steering wheel

Yes honesty i have plans to buy 4 or 5 point harnesses. I had a 4 point harness on when the airbag deployed and did not move during the accident I have had really bad experiences with airbags.
