Knock sensors....what am i missing here

Friend asked me to look on ebay for a knock sensor for his 2001 lude. CEL says knock sensor after changing O2 sensors. We look and find a huge difference in prices....
Both these are Standards, both KS64s, both have the OEM part number 30530-P5M-013

Why is one less than 9 bucks and the other more than $140.
and every price in between

KS64 Knock Sensor | eBay

SMP/STANDARD KS64 Knock (Detonation) Sensor | eBay

Sorry if the answer is obvious and I am not just seeing it

Re: Knock sensors....what am i missing here

Man i bought one off eBay for cheap. I haven't installed it yet but i was fitting it with whatever size wrench id need [cant remember what size] but i found one the would kinda fit... or should've rather, but the nut on the sensor had rough edges like casting marks or whatever you'd call em. And kept the socket from fitting over it the way it was supposed to go. But it'd fit if i turned it around and put the bolt side [threaded side] into the socket. Over all it seemed poorly made. I've read good reviews and bad so maybe its 50/50. I don't understand how there allowed to sell crap that doesn't work though. Makes no sense.

When it comes to a part as crucial as a knock sensor, just spend the extra dough and go OEM. You know what they say...

Well we cleared the code, put 2 tanks of premium gas in and haven't gotten the code since, been 5 days now, car runs great. Bought both anyways just to see
