Icon8 Exhaust pipe broke under cheap megan headers, best option?

Just bought a 99 prelude for 5k, 78k miles. Previous owner installed the ****ty megan racing headers and didn't even bother mounting the pipe properly. Naturally, the pipe severed completely. Pictures below:

What's my most practical option here? Should I bother getting decent headers? Should I go with the popular hytech triple Y? I'm not really willing to shell out for the full exhaust system necessary for decent headers right now on an old bb7. Would I even be able to find just that pipe alone for the same megan racing headers for a cheap fix?

Also, how safe is it to drive like this? It idles roughly and loses a lot of power on the bottom end, so my naturally inclination is to stay off it.

Id just get the hytech tri-y and call it a day. It is safe to drive like that as long as the fumes don't build up in the cabin.

how does that fit onto the cat though? That pipe is broken off right at the brace. Doesn't the tri-y need to be welded down there or does it just slip right into the cat?

Also like I said, I don't want to invest in a new exhaust. I do have a magnaflow high flow cat laying around though, would it worth it to swap out the headers and cat and keep the stock exhaust?

Well you could always get it rewelded back but that's obviously a dumb wasted idea. I'd just get the hytech rep header weld it onto the high flow cat. Later on you could get a catback exhaust to complete the setup.

Apexi WS2, Mugen (If you wanna spend 1k), greddy sp2. That's more of the near stock quiet exhausts but are deep when open throttle.
