Re: Should i buy this Prelude??!

You should find out if he has the OEM bumpers/side skirts and what kind of wheels those are.

Re: Should i buy this Prelude??!

ITs an h22A4 and well he wouldn't take 2700 and offered 2900 and he would "wait" since i don't have the money on me right now :/ im afraid someone else might take it while i get the money together... but idk...

That black looks cool from a distance. Can't tell if it's a spray bomb or professionally painted matte though. You could through him a lower offer and see if he takes it

Re: Should i buy this Prelude??!

bro, I would just save up the cash first without even worrying about buying a car. Once you get the cash then find something you can afford and negotiate from there. I don't think (and this is just my opinion) no one is going to hold a car for you if someone else has cash in hand. Spending money before you get it is how you get yourself into some deep $hit.

Sell the 2nd Gen and you will be closer to the amount you need. Also i would keep looking, you can find better 5th gens than those your currently looking at.

Re: Should i buy this Prelude??!

The prelude 3100.00 is worth looking into. I just looked it up 2 minutes before this post so it may be for sale. Those are enkei or asa(by bbs) the center caps are alittle grainy. The hood deosn't line up right so im betting he had a black prelude and replaced the front and matted it out. Still bring a mechanic with you. I bought a 89 prelude for 1900 back in 04, so 1200 is reasonable too. If you already have a prelude, put it up for sale and then youll have enough money.

Honestly, narrow down your plan to what car, you're all over the place.

Re: Should i buy this Prelude??!

Not to be an ass or anything but you really don't sound like you have anything planned out. Your saying you just got a job and you can't buy the car yet.

If I was in your position (which I was last year when I got my lude) is wait for a good deal and have your money saved up. You sound like a young kid (I am as well, 19) so rather then blow money you don't have on a car you aren't set on and have maintenance issues or other things that require you to put money into in order to drive the car. I'd say save up...

Re: Should i buy this Prelude??!

yea thanks for all the advice guys the only reason i was looking into buying another lude is because my current 2nd gen has few problems :/ for one it doesn't get 5th gear it got it like 1 time right after i replaced the flywheel and clutch secondly the mileage on my lude is around 265k... just want to have something to save up for and i know the guy with the black 5th gen is going to have the car around since i found an older post of the same car but it was for $3500 and that post was made early June.. i dont know honestly the lude i currently have is perfect for drifting and well other than not being able to get into 5th gear and high mileage it doesn't have many problems.. but yea i will save up and then consider buying a different Prelude...
