Bad Ignition Coil with p0301

Hey PZoners,

This is my first help post, so if its in the wrong spot my bad

I have an ignition coil that I think is causing my misfire problem. I know three things cause misfire (Ignition, Fuel or Vacuum Leak). So I changed Ignition Parts and checked the others

P0301 Cylinder 1 Misfire
2k SH

Have not done/checked:
  • Fuel Filter
  • Fuel Pump
  • Distributor

  • Wires (NGK)
  • Spark Plugs (NGK)
  • Rotor
  • Cap
  • Cleaned EGR Valve (The car doesn't dip below 500 rpm when coming to a stop anymore)
  • Performed Plugged EGR Port test (Honda TSB) to see if the ports were clogged, It passed
  • Checked for Fuel Injector Clogged, its not (Also ran two bottle of Chevron Concentrate Fuel Injector Cleaner)
  • No vacuum leak that I can hear or see

Now I decided to check the Ignition Coil. Resistance was 0.2 Ohms. Far below the required 0.64 - .78 Ohms. (See picture)

2 Questions:
  1. Is this a clear sign my ignition coil is bad? Or is having a lower resistance not such a bad thing?
  2. I am ordering a Delphi Ignition Coil from (~$75 free 2 day shipping).Outside of OEM is their any recommended brands for Ignition Coils?
