sick results from headlight restoration kit

Just thought I'd post about my experience with Meguiars heavy duty headlight restore kit That I purchased at a local Canadian Tire for 40$.

I was actually amazed by the results because i've seen some people do them and not much really changes, especially since mine where so scratched up and hazed over, the driver side one was pretty danm yellowish too. Spent like 30min on each headlight and maybe 10min per turn signal, didn't have to do anything a second time. just used a mix of low and hi speed on the drill and very little pressure.
Also did my turn signals and got just as good of a result if not better, all my scratches are gone and there sooo much clearer.

Some before and after pics, the driver side was the worst.

Re: sick results from headlight restoration kit

Heres are the pics of the turn signals, didn't even notice but I must've forgot to take a pic of the passanger side signal marker, it was just as nice. The driver side was also the worst on these too... jeez there is even a little bit of blood on it from god knows what lol.

I did take one of the car with one turn signal done and the other not as, I was going to do this with the headlights but also forgot too : ( Still so much easier to tell the difference.

Looks like an amazing difference! Did you see how it looks with the headlights on at night? During the day, my headlights look just as clear, but once night time hits and I have my HIDs on, I can see all the stone chips and minor imperfections. What a difference clean headlights/signals can have on a car though!

Nope! tonight I guess I'll find out, super pumped haha. I was gonna not do it because for xmas I'm getting some black oem depos and hids untill I can afford a retro and my women was gonna get me my clear v2 fogs/hids.

That plasticX stuff is amazing, completely cleans them up to a crystal shine. Apreciate that feedback and thanks for the comments!

Re: sick results from headlight restoration kit

Me too, atleast come next spring I'll have some black depos to go on. It's not much but you can notice my driver side headlight has a mount broke and it sits back a tiny bit into it, dosent move or shake around much tho, so for now im just waiting it out.
