pleeeease help my lude

So I recently cleaned my egr ports and my upper intake. I had to remove the injectors to get more room for the egr ports. I put everything back together annnnnd now the car won't turn over. It Will crank but not turn over. Checked spark and for fuel pump to turn on... and found neither. I narrowed it down to my acg fuse that just that blows everytime I crank the car. But not when I unplug my main relay... I re soldered the joints on the relay but the fuse still blows. Please help I need Too know what to do next plz.

Re: pleeeease help my lude

When you replaced your injectors you shut off your fuel pump to prevent pressure release right?

Re: pleeeease help my lude

No problem, we're all here to help! I don't think it's a huge deal but that might be the problem. Also, if you didn't attach the fuel rod flush with the injectors you might have damaged the orings causing pressure to release... idk. Those can be replaced easily.

Also, tell me how you took off and put on your EGR valve because you removed it to clean it right?

Re: pleeeease help my lude

Yes I removed my ignition coil and unplugged harness. Then unglugged egr harness and vcaccum line, then the two bolts holding the egr valve to the manifold. Which I had already taken the throttle body and upper intake manifold b off along with the butterfly valves to clean inside.

Re: pleeeease help my lude

Check and see if you damaged the manifold, or cracked it at all. It's super easy to crack the manifold if you don't attach the EGR correctly. It sounds like you did it correctly.

Sounds like you're problem is the main relay, try replacing that. After that, replace your ACG fuse. The components are protected by fuse 24 (ACG), you can start to unplug all the components one by one, each time checking if the fuse is blown to pin point your problem. If this doesn't work I think I have another idea.

Re: pleeeease help my lude

OK what all is controlled by the relay because when its unplugged the acg won't blow.. main relay as two functions right?

Re: pleeeease help my lude

Yup correct, one for fuel pump and one for the ignition circuit I believe. And EGR sounds correct. Hey man, i'm leaving for a week so I don't think i'd be any much help. But my other idea was to pull fuse 15 (10A), and than check your ACG fuse to see if it's blown. It might even be something small like the radio, pulling fuse 23 I believe would be radio. Pull the fuses protected by the ACG fuse one by one like I said above and this will pinpoint your problem. :) Good luck. After that, replace that fuse and you should be set! Remember try pulling fuse 15 and maybe fuse 23 just be careful. (THE ONES PROTECTED BY THE ACG FUSE) ;). Inbox me with your results and i'll get back to you within the next week or so.

Re: pleeeease help my lude

If it still blows with the new relay then the relay wasn't the problem. Check the components after the relay.
