NEED HELP OIL LEAK

Okay, I have a 2001 prelude h22 and there is oil burning somehow. It smells like oil burning so i'm pretty sure it is oil. I wanted to know all the places where oil leaks are common within the engine. Is there any way oil can leak from under the intake? It's coming from the right side of the fuel injectors if you're looking straight at it.

Re: NEED HELP OIL LEAK

Correct me if Im wrong but i think that would be your rear main seal. And the burning of oil is common for the H22's. I had oil burning so I did a leak down test, numbers were great so that told me that my valve seals were bad. I had to have the head sent out to be milled, and replace the valve seals . While you are in there might as well do the timing belt and water pump if you havent done that recently. It could be something else.. Im just speaking from my past experience with my Lude.

Re: NEED HELP OIL LEAK

Hm could be your VTEC solenoid, cam cap seal, valve cover gasket or even your intake manifold. Just take a look in there and see where it's coming from.
