Another Headlight Thread

it has come time to buy new headlights.
My situation is i have already have a pair of 80k Dash Z racing Lights i bought for quite the $$$, if at all possible i would like to use those. if it is not probable i'
m not opposed to trying to sell them or just holding on to them. I've decided retrofitting is the way to go and i'm scraping my stock housing because they look like garbage and i want to go with a smoke/black look.

my questions are; is there a place where i can order everything and then all i need to do is put the housing in place and then plug n play? what are some good retofitting sources? and lastly how much is to much when paying for a retrofit. i would like to keep it below 600, only because i have a had time justifying 600+ $$ on headlights right now. (that doesn't mean i wont do it if the headlights look good enough. everyone has a price)

I've had my lude for about 1 month and 1/2 now. this will be my first cosmetic mod and i want it too look nice. not super ricey. thanks for the help guys.

Black housed depo's are your best choice

I know there's a few people on here that do retrofits you just gotta find them. And you diy smoke your headlights if you want to but reduce your visibility.

If you want to do it yourself, grab a set of Depo headlights and Mishimoto projectors. Cheapest setup in my opinion for the nicest look.

Those ebay headlights look good. Prelude1897 would you mind writing up a DIY guide. i dont mean to be a cheap a** and gauge you out of business i would just like to learn how to do them myself if ya know what i mean. i do like the look of the morimotos with the gatling shroud, but would you even ned the shrouds with those headlights?

I would do a DIY, but I don't have time to write it all out a long with pics, cause I also run a body shop. Doing retrofits isn't my main thing anymore like it used to be a couple years ago. As for needing shrouds with the morimotos, I suggest putting some on, cause that's what gives it the finish look.
