Doubled up header gasket? Need ASAP

Hello i have a 98 prelude base model, was wondering about a header problem i've searched and can't find an answer. I have a dc header, and the down pipe rubs against the oil pan around 2500 rpm and makes a loud clicking noise. I had the bracket attaching the mid-pipe to the block removed thinking that would give it a little more clearance but it did not, now it just rattles all the time. My question is am i able to maybe use 2 (maybe more if needed) header gaskets to back the header away from the block a little to give it those few cm of room it needs. And if that is possible am i able to use a stock gasket or does dc have a specific gaskets for their products. Any advice is helpful

Stock gaskets are rings. They would not work with a DC header/downpipe. If i'm not mistaken, DC uses the typical thicker flat gasket - and yes, if you had two you could install them. But you will have more of a chance to have a leak if you do so.

DC headers use OEM gaskets. I just installed mine and have absolutely no issues with my DC header. Are you sure that header is is for a 5th gen?

yea positive its 5th gen. i had to have a shim welded to the bracket on the down pipe to give it just enough clearance. problem solved.......for now
