DDM HID Kit Slim Ballast

Any one that has ordered these, is it worth getting the 55w or will 35w be good enough and not cause problems?
Also will I need to get the optional 'HID duel in,duel out harness' and the 'optional adapter cables'?
And the bulb type should be 'H1' correct?

Sorry for the noob questions I'm just not too great with the electronics and dont want to waste my cash.
Thanks for the help

Re: DDM HID Kit Slim Ballast

THe 5th gen uses H1 bulbs for high and low beams.

Not sure about the harness, but the optional adapter cables are just if you want to convert something to a male, female connection for some odd reason, rather than it being plug n play. I bought them for my fourth gen and didn't use them.

Re: DDM HID Kit Slim Ballast

You don't need any of those extra harness or adapter cables. Just order the HID kit H1 and the mounting brackets if you want and it's all plug n play.

Re: DDM HID Kit Slim Ballast

I say you grab a pair of these!!

Acura RSX RL Honda CR-V Prelude H1 HID Bulb Adapters Brackets

Because when you put these HIDs into our cars, i heard the clip doesnt fit on so well so we have to bend it. This would fix the problem!

Re: DDM HID Kit Slim Ballast

Yeah my depos clips were too wide and had to bend them. I say just get some pliars and bend them but if you wanna spend the money it saves time.

Re: DDM HID Kit Slim Ballast

retro fit a TSL projector full the full effect of HIDs.

Otherwise, you are mostly just blinding people.

Re: DDM HID Kit Slim Ballast

^ Retrofits are nice but I have my 6k HID's in my DEPO's and I've driven past friends and family and they say it doesn't blind them, I have them pointed low though but still get good visibility. It's those damn red necks in their trucks with HID's in their stock housing that blinds the hell out of everyone.

Silverado's....i swear they come from the factory with their lights adjusted so they hit as many cars right in the face as possible.
