Another exhaust thread!~

I know there are already a whole bunch out there, but i just want opinions.
SO, i was thinking about getting a exhaust system for my lude.

I didn't know if i wanted to do custom piping or just keep the stock piping and go with a muffler. I know i want the Magnaflow 14805 Dual tip muffler fersure. So if anyone has that muffler can you give me some feedback?

I saw this one on youtube and love the sound of it. Does anyone know his build?
http://youtu.be/tJzA_qMoXMw

Or any reccomendations on how to go with my exhaust. I dont have the money for the greddy or HKS or any of those so don't even bother!

Thanks guys! (:

Keeping the stock pipe and just adding a muffler is a waste in money IMO. Especially if you intend to go with a stock style muffler - You would only notice a slight difference in sound due to less baffling.

If you don't have the money for a typical catback system - reconsider getting a custom exhaust alltogether.

(i'll always recommend a custom exhaust after making the mistake of purchasing a Greddy)

If you just want sound, 2.5" will work. Power you would want 3"

Going custom this is what you need to price out (take into consideration if you're going to have a shop bend the pipe or order a pipe kit, and what size)

pipe
resonator
muffler
flanges
gaskets
exhaust hangers
labor

It adds up quickly.... especially when just a muffler and resonator alone can cost damn near $200 total.
