type s steering wheel questions

Hello I have a 2000 SS prelude and need a new steering wheel. I have found one from a JDM Type S however it does not have the perforated steering wheel and red stitching. Can anybody identify what year prelude this is from and if it will be a direct fit on my lude? Thank you, here is a pic of the wheel:

The wheel never came with perforated leather. That wheel came on all 5th gen Preludes EXCEPT the US & Canada ones (who knows why though).

I have this wheel. My car is an '01 base so I'm guessing it will be a direct fit

The Type S(H) wheel has three notches (the third one is for the steering wheel position sensor which is also used for a BB8 4WS model too).

Re: type s steering wheel questions

I like the look of the Type S better then USDM but then I like the USDM one better when it comes to function when turning. Idk if it's interchangeable but you should try and let us know :)

Re: type s steering wheel questions

It's the exact same size wheel, just three spokes instead of 4 spokes.

I bought mine from Bartosz with new perforated leather and red stitch

He also made me the shift boot, ebrake boot, ebrake handle, console lid and armrests in red stitch for $195 shipped (from Poland)

Re: type s steering wheel questions

I have the exact wheel as the above poster, just with blue stitch, and no airbag in my trunk...
I need an airbag.
