Factory Alarm

Okaay so, i bought the prelude... Didnt know if i have a factory alarm... Found out what it looked like online and found it in my car. Does anyone know any way to test if its activated or how to activate my alarm? Do i need the fobs? Im stumped right now.

Re: Factory Alarm

Roll your window down, lock the car from the inside. Shut the down and open the car by putting your hand through the window. Dont think ya need the FOB to arm the alarm. ya shouldn't

Re: Factory Alarm

The OEM alarm is armed/disarmed by locking/unlocking the doors with the FOB.

Re: Factory Alarm

You see, thats the confusing part. the FCC iD:, is for the 97-98 preludes on the alarm system... And i just went with the hunch to match the two IDS so im looking more towards this one.
