Retainer for a Redline Shift Boot?

I just purchased a JTC Customs Short Shifter and a type r style knob, and I would really like to get a Redline shift boot. Here is what is holding me back and what I need help with, I want a retainer/clip/bushing for the top of the boot so it gives it a professional look. I don't like the folded over and zip tie look at all.

I want something like this, but to work with the JTC shift knob.

I also like the look of the Civic type r boot but I would rather have a high quality leather then a vinyl boot.

Also for anyone that has ordered a redline boot to go with a short shifter should I have them cut the boot a few inches shorter so its not all bunched up? what have you guys done, any help at all is appreciated.
