Found this little bugger sittin' in my bay. Anyone know what it's from?

The last two days, me and my dad have been installing and replacing hoses and put in a new radiator. After we finished up, we drove around the block and then brought the car back, opened up the hood, cleaned up the mess and I found this little guy.

Anybody know what it's from?

Looks like some sort of cover or mount, what to? Sorry but I don't know off the top of my head.

Yeah I thought the same thing but I'm still completely clueless as to where it goes!

That sounds serious. Is it vital that I find where it came out of? I have work in 30 minutes :(

lazarky is right, it sits on the trans to allow you to see (if removed) your flywheel.

Re: Found this little bugger sittin' in my bay. Anyone know what it's from?

It's the inspection hole plug. You take that out to check the timing of your motor via a timing light. NBD if your missing it, but its something that's easy enough to fit in your pocket at a junkyard.

Atleast honda was smart enough to put that in so you can see if the flywheel is mangled up.
