P1 lip help

I bought this P1 lip from ebay for 55 bucks. It came in a full sized box so it wasn't in a retarded bent shape. But it was kinda deformed in the middle and sides I put it in the sun 100+ temperature sun and it wouldn't budge on bending back to it's original state, I know it's Polyurethane cause I was able to bend it to make sure I didn't get some crap ABS plastic lip. I tried test fitting it on the car and it seems to be a few inches short. Look at the pics. I sent them a email and long story short they refunded me of the full 55 bucks and are letting me keep the lip for free.
So my question is how tight of a fit was your guys P1 lips? How can I can it to fit and go back to the original state?

Re: P1 lip help

Yeah sucks lol but it's basically free I really want it to fit. I read up some more and a few people said it was a pretty tight fit Im gonna try again with a heat gun if I can get my hands on one without buying one.

Re: P1 lip help

mine was super tight too, actually about as small as yours. what i did was put screws in each end and then worked it over the front of the bumper.

Re: P1 lip help

Well I tried. I was able to get it on my car but needed some bending where the flap goes in the wheel well, While I was bending it it tore about a inch :( Will some polyurthane glue work good? What else? I saw someone use JBWELD
