rear main seal

does anyone know where i can get info on replacing the rear main seal? any advice is greatly appreciated

Zip off axle nuts, pull out axles, unbolt tranny, drop tranny, take pressure plate off, pull flywheel off, take off seal, reinstall everything in the reverse order.

That sounds like a bugger of a job to do. Not to hijack the thread. Should those be replaced every time you pull off the tranny? I guess what I'm trying to say is like you would do with a timing belt.

You'd be stupid NOT to replace a ~$5 seal whenever you drop the tranny which is average of an 8hr job.
