Well yesterday was a crappy day for myself, on my way to school I got into the turning lane and someone decided to change lanes before I was completely done. They ran into my front fender and dented it up pretty good and ran, I didn't get a plate number and I do not have collision on my Lude. My car was immaculate, like, argh, Im so pissed right now.

Anyhow, I don't have the money to be fixing it since I am in school and I just needed to vent. Heres a pic, you can't really see it but it's such a shame.

I guess I am putting her up for sale and buying a truck, this is the THIRD TIME someone has skimmed me at this particular spot, the other times they stopped though and I was able to get it fixed.

Just needed to vent. ahhhhhdhdhfjskdlfk

Wow man...thats pretty ****ty. The worst things always happen to the prettiest cars.

It reminds me of when i was driving the Impala home one night about two years ago.
I was going the speed limit, maybe a bit over, down a windy road where i live, and a deer decided to jump out in from of me. And if youve ever driven a 4200lb sedan, youll know that it doesnt stop worth a shyt. About $4000 bucks in damage, but thankfully, i had full coverage on it (only had a $100 deductible). New hood, fender, grill, radiator...all direct from GM (no aftermarket shyt on that car) But yea.
Too bad youre selling the lude, its gorgeous...

It's still pretty from the drivers side lol.

At least it gets me around still and at night you can't really tell too much, but buh, this stinks.

Well...think of it this way...you can still drive it, it only looks kinda bad. And also. if you buy a truck, think about the gas youre gonna MURDER in that thing. Id say keep the lude and suck it up.

I understand, driving a semi-trashed car sucks...but ya gotta do what you gotta do...and also, you might wanna look into getting COLLISION COVERAGE

I just have to have my two cents... MERCEDES BENZ and parking lots at shopping malls / offices!

The blighters park next to me - on both sides, don't ask me how I pick my parking spots - and bang their doors wide open into my paintwork! I mean come on!

The one day I came out to my car and saw a lady putting something into her own car, door wide open, ass leaning against it denting my own door further. Telling her off didn't help so when I climbed in, I opened wide and made sure I leaned in real hard.

She now has blue paint imprinted in her white door, my car has subsequently been restored ;)

Uhlig > Really sorry about your car - I was admiring it the other day (your signature)

I almost pissed myself when I read that (only a white prelude can pull off an accident and still look clean haha), I literally started laughing out loud in abnormal psych.- it was really awkward because we are studying brain tumors right now and I immediatly switched screens, so everyone thinks I am laughing at this groteque picture of a giant malignant tumor, which made me laugh even harder. Thank you.

^ Wow, are you serious? I am going to be contacting you as soon as I have some time- maybe I will keep this bad girl after all.

Here is an unfortunate update too.

So today, stopped in traffic I notice some smoke coming out from my passenger wheel. Also, theres like a flim of oil and grease on the wheel- I noticed this because it's darker from brake dust and the **** on it than all the others.
I haven't had time to investigate but I am certain this happened from the accident, also, when I inch forward by letting off the brake I hear a small mechanical click..... I looked under my passenger side to find a small amount of gear oil seaping out which was not here before, I check my car throughly at least once a week and the only fluid leaking was where I spilled a very small amount of oil on my last oil change.

I will post pics shortly.

And here you go, I tried to explain them the best I could for any input you guys can give me.

The caliper picture bothers me, but my brakes work fine and have great pedal feel, there isn't enough for me to tell if it's brake fluid or not though.

Here you go, enjoy my misery. LOL. I really have the urge to spark some green, aye yai yai.

Here are the wheels, I haven't washed the car since the accident and you can already see how much is sticking to the one and the other is still relatively clean.

Here is the fluid on the caliper, I think this is what caused the smoke.

Here is some fresh seapage/leakage from who the hell knows where.
