What actually happened that it is suddenly slipping? Keen to know what you did :)

From South Africa so I can't advise - sure someone else will vouch for a place / site.

Ah we all go through bad stages ;) If you had the auto - swapping to manual will be best... perhaps a blessing in disguise :)

My auto does the exact opposite, it grabs like a beast!

Haha, does anyone notice when their trans is cold the gear changes feel very agressive? Once my car warms up they are smooth and dainty, any of you notice that?

Yeah, the auto grabs like crazy in the mornings... a bit rough and jerky - minute car is at operating temp things even out ;)

so now i have another problem...... i decided to just fix my current auto w/ sportshift tranny but now the check engine light is still comin on even though the car is running fine. i took it back to the shop i got t fixed at and they said that i probably need to replace my transmission computer. how can i test the computer to make sure its working so i dont waste my money and if i do need to get one where is a good place to get one online or even around my area. i live in MD
