I'M SO CLOSE!! Need help with a stalling issue!!

Hey guys, I've been working on an extensive interior overhaul of my lude and it is FINALLY almost complete! I can't wait to surprise this thread with what my dad and I have been able to create. Anyways one of the finishing touches to our project included getting a new quieter exhaust put on the car (previous owner had a ricey coffee-can sounding POS). The mechanic we took it into to do the welding said "no problem".

We just picked it up today and it drove fine all the way home, but i took it out tonight and it's having issues.

Here are the problems: Stalling and dieing out of first gear take off (and yes i can drive a freaking stick!!), then it restarts by itself sometimes after dieing when the clutch is pressed down again. It also make noises like the starter is trying to crank when i shift into first (the times it doesn't die). It makes this same noise when shifting from 4th to 5th gear, but less severe. The abs and e-brake lights randomly flash on and off too.

So after all that does anyone have any ideas what might be causing it/ what went wrong at the shop today? I'm taking it back to the shop Thursday and hopefully they will have an idea, but I've put so much time and effort into my baby. This seems like a major setback

Thanks in advanced- Mitch

The fact that the lights blink again definitely point to a wiring issue. As MOB5TA said, check the ground, you may also want to check your ignition switch and or connector. You mentioned having done a lot of interior work, it's possible the connector to the switch is not seated all the way.
