need some help

ok, i got my trans fluid change like 4 days ago at the carcareclinic, and every thing is ok but now i saw that smoke is coming out from under the intake maniflold or some other place. i was just driving it like 20 min. and the smoke is kind of white or gray looking it smell like it is burning something. people i talk to said it is the headgasket or when they change the oil from the trans they might have not cleaned the oil around it. what might be the problem and what should i do any suggestion. :dong:

I would tak it back to them and let them know what is going, to me it sounds like the oil filter was not put back on right.

edit never mind about the oil filter, it sounds like they got tranny fluid every were.

^^yes i agree. Oil could be burning off your exhaust pipe and creating the smoke...park the car and see if you have a puddle of either oil or red oil-tranny fluid.

DONT TAKE IT TO THE HONDA STEALERSHIP... you'll leave with a bill for everything when all it possibly was, was spilt fluids.

see what this place says, and then look and see if you can see some fluid on the manifold...

If you are worried about your headgasket simply check your oil to see if it's milkshaking, check your coolant for oil in it, and do a compression test. If they all check out you are good. I agree with the above posts, I doubt it's anything serious- probably just an oafy tech with butter fingers and a bottle of gear oil.
