Before you start upgrading anything make sure your engine doesn't need anything like oil change, timing belt, any other belts, gaskets and all that boring replacements you need to keep your Prelude going :) Just my two cents.

what is your definition of worth it? i think almost any car can benefit from a tune depending on what you are looking to get from it

Re: new prelude owner h22 engine upgrades

maintenance first
then suspension
then IHE
then tune
...then more if you want to

Re: new prelude owner h22 engine upgrades

I'd personally vote suspension before engine upgrades. I'd rather rip around corners than 'quickly' get to 30mph around town IMO.

Re: new prelude owner h22 engine upgrades

Maintenance, Good header like vibrant, hytech, bisimoto. Your choice of exhaust with 3" piping. Type S intake with drop in K&N filter or ebay intake with K&n filter. :) Then you can get some suspension. Upgrade/replace bushings, thicker sway bar for handling with front and rear strut bar and NOS! (j/k about the nos) After all that your looking to drop around 500 and up for internals and what not or F/I.
