Leaking Radiator

Hey PZ, so no junkyard in a 100mile radius has a radiator for my car. Time to order online! But....my radiator is leaking right now. At work. I dont want to spend 60$ on antifreeze over the next couple days. I was told bondo wont work because of the pressure. Any ideas besides gettin a ride to work everyday until it comes? :P

Re: Leaking Radiator

Do you know where it is leaking from? Go to an automotive store and get some "QuikSteel." Patch the radiator for now.

Re: Leaking Radiator

Yeah I just got home, stopped at autozone and got some JB Weld for temp fix. Used it once before and it worked alright but the leak was on top of the radiator. This is like directly next to the drain plug. Waiting for it to cool off, gonna throw it on ramps and try to get that patched up until my new radiator comes in the mail.

Re: Leaking Radiator

I got mine on Amazon for like $70, brand new.

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...ls_o02_s00_i00

Fits perfectly. Only compromise is I had to use the cap that came with it. OEM cap would not fit.

Re: Leaking Radiator

So the accord rad fits? And yeah I was planning on bleeding it afterwards, but did yours come with a cap when you bought it h22avtec? Or did OEM fit. Honestly, since ebay is cheapest that is probably what Im going to do since it seems like such an easy install. I just wanted to make sure the quality was decent. And if everything bolted right up no problem.

Re: Leaking Radiator

Awesome thatll save me some money too. I was thinking of getting a junkyard one but for the same price I can get one brand new shipped to me so Im just going that route. Thanks for all the help guys. Btw, the JB weld held on strong today, started raining hard and my car still isnt leaking. Only let it sit for like 8 hours before I had to go to work. So yeah, jb weld ftw :)
