92-96 F22b swap into 01 prelude

Hey everyone, i have an 01 prelude that i really wanna boost but dont wanna rebuild my spare h22a4. id like to buy an f22b for the car since ive heard it is real easy to do and almost everything switches over. If anyone has done this before and could help me out id really appreciate it. i can get the full motor with 40k miles for around $800 shipped so that already saves me alot on the rebuild.

You can get a spare H22 for less than that... just saying.

The F series was in 5th gens in some countries. I've seen 1 or 2 guys do the swap to replace the H here in the states, but you'll have to do a little searching on it, try preludepower or honda-tech

I have a spare h22 but it's alot more expensive to rebuild with lower compression than it is to buy a different setup with lower compression already. Not sure which one to do and I've heard the f22b was a good one

That's true, the F series deff has a better block and is more reliable with boost.

Just be aware of the emissions situation if you swap in an obd1 motor.

I'm not set on everything I'm mainly looking for a cheaper way to turbo my car without rebuilding my h22a4. I figured I could buy a motor with lower compression and I'd be alright, I have no idea about any of the little things involved as far as switching to obd1 and all that

Turbo builds are normally a lot cheaper than N/A builds, HP for HP. I plan on doing an N/A build in my 99, Looking to make at least 250WHP.
