RHD Rack and Pinion

Hey guys, I need your help. So the other day I went to get an alignment and they said it couldn't be done because some how my rack and pinion is messed up. When the car is jacked up, the front right wheel is able to be wiggled around. So I started to look on Craigslist for a new one and came across one from a right hand drive BB6 from Japan. The guy said he wasn't sure if it would work or not so I thought I would ask you guys. So will it work? Or do I even need to replace the entire rack, when just one side seems to be bad? Any Input is appreciated, Thanks!

Re: RHD Rack and Pinion

Yeah i'd check to see if it's a bad inner or outer tie rod like godzuki90 said. more likely the problem and probably cheaper by my guess. good luck

Re: RHD Rack and Pinion

I'm pretty sure the entire rack and pinion is bad since the steering buckles in sharp left turns and both wheels have considerable play when raised.

Anyways, will a base rack and pinion work on my SH?
