Recharging A/C

So I bought the R134 freons with the diy hose and pressure checker. Where is the low pressure valve for the A/C? I see the high pressure one, it has the cap on it still. Can anyone help I need to figure out if lack of freons is my A/C issue :P

No its the small line to the left of the rad hose. And idk about those diy ac charge kits. I tried one on a buddys car and it didnt work. If you put too much in you can damage your ac compresser. Id return it and have a shop do it. Theres.a.reason why you used to have to be certified to charge the ac. Yeah giving someone 100+ just to fill the freon sucks , but they also do a leak test and all that before filling it. Id honestly go that route. I did and best 100 i ever spent.

Re: Recharging A/C

Does your compressor continually cliuk on and off? Thats generally a good sign of low refrigerant. If it doesn't click on and off about every 3-5 seconds but it blowing warm air, it could be something else. I have used the kits before, and if you know what your doing, you'll be ok. But if you can't distinguish between the low and high pressure sides, I would follow the advice of the others and have a reputable place take a look at it.

The diy kits only fit on the low side. The low and high are different sizes
