trunk torsion bars help!

So if you've tried to do these yourself you know what I mean when I say these are a bit## I tried to switch em out. Easy part is getting them out but getting em in is a whole different story. There's a special tool but I'd rather not buy a tool to use it once. I tried a pry bar but no luck. Anyone know a good way to get these on without the special tool?
My trunk and myself would appreciate any help!

Re: trunk torsion bars help!

We use a chain wrench at work no problems installing them when putting spoilers on, or from someone taking the bars out for a stupid reason lol.

Re: trunk torsion bars help!

You can make the tool yourself... rod from your local hardware store, a little heat and a vice - you have your self a tension tool.

Or just buy it... Hell, i think most Honda dealerships would just lend you the tool or do a quick install for free. It's a 5 minute job.
