Idle issue

ok so i have a 1997 type sh and its giving a idle issue and i just bought a new idle control valve and replaced it with the old one but now its doing the same thing again even with the new part is on it any tips on what to do

A little more info on how it is idling would help. Is it fluctuating? Idling rough? Not idling at all? We need to know what's going on to know how to help you.

mybad and no it idling fine when the temp goes up but when stop at the light it starts going up and down in at 1000 to 2000 RPMSand also om the cold start

Fast Idle Thermo Valve. I believe in the aforementioned thread it states how to remove it, clean it, and repair it. It is under the throttle body and has 2 coolant lines that run through it.
