98 prelude

i have a 98 prelude sh. in the last few days i've been having trouble with the car staying on. i mean, im driving along, however the car soon dies. Theres plenty of gas in the tank, first off. The battery is still good, as i can soon restart it.

however when the car dies, the engine and the power turns off as well. as if i turned the keys to off, yet their still in the run position. when i restart it, sometimes it'll stay on, other times it'll turn over but won't stay on unless i keep the key in the turning over position.

Went to autozone and they recommended checking the ignition control module. took mine out, tested faulty. got a new one, installed it. yet still same results. so needing some help. any would help, drawing some blanks.

Re: 98 prelude

ignition relay, almost guaranteed. there is a recall for it so hit up your local honda dealer and if it has not been done to your car yet they will fix it for free.
