MAY try selling my lude

I really don't want to but I am thinking of selling both my cars and getting just one new one to reducing my $$ flowing out of my account for cars. As you guys know it is SUPER clean inside and out, now a 2 owner car, never damaged, clean carfax, stock except for tint, coilovers, and door speakers (all done by me), car now has 95k on it, and is a 5 speed manual. I have all the maintenance info since the car was first purchased in '99 and I have had preventative maintenance done on the car; new clutch, new seals, rear main seal, and a few other things that Honda took care of when I had it at the dealership. Put a little over $2500 in maintenance in to this car because I am anal and want it perfect even if it is over 12 years old.
Considering the history and the condition of this car what would be a fair price to ask for it? What would you guys pay for it? hopefully I am not setting myself up for a let down here but I wanted your opinions.

Thanks

yeah i'd be losing $ at that price. I know I paid a bit high for it but I liked the history that came with it.

Re: MAY try selling my lude

You're not going to get what you paid for it or think you should get. Like you said your car is 12 years old. For the same money someone can buy something much newer. I bought my Prelude from the original owner just as clean as yours if not cleaner and I paid 6G's. Pretty much the same scenario, no mods with the exception of CAI, Greddy exhaust, Koni's with Nuespeeds and some 18" wheels, motor was bare stock. I purchased it for that much because it was original owner and the cleanest Prelude I have seen for being 11 years old.

You have a really beautiful car but it's just not realistic to expect to get someone to pay more then 6-7 G's for it. I think 7 would be pushing it to be honest. My car is about to have a huge amount of time and money invested in it and when I'm tired of it I know that I won't be able to recoup the money I put in it or even get close.

To be honest if I was you I would keep it. Hard to come across in that kind of condition.

Again, beautiful car and good luck with whatever you decide to do.
