Icon14 Type-S intake and S2 70mm TB

Well I had some time to get my new S2 TB installed and I was initially concerned that the 70mm wouldnt work with the Type-S intake. I got the TB on the cheap from a friend and figured I'd give it a go just in case. Anyway, with a little elbow grease and patience I was able to get the intake to slip on and I also did the little valve cover breather mod and eliminated the coolant TB passthrough while I was at it. Overall I'm really happy with the results, didn't have time to pull the intake manifold and port it to match the TB but I think I'm gonna go with the S2 manifold anyway so it won't really matter I'll just port it when I get it.

Here's some pix:

Starting out

Pulled the intake out and got the old TB and studs off

OEM and the S2 side by side

After wrestling to get the intake arm on, pulled out the trusty ohmmeter to adjust the TPS

Sensors installed and adjusted, ready to go

More air please

Installed and ready to rock

Pic of the new valve cover breather and rerouted/eliminated coolant lines
