Mugen Twin Loop

I'm hoping to get a Mugen Twin Loop for my lude. Does anyone know if the Twin Loop mufflers (canister only) for the 5th gen are the same as off an integra or civic? I know size-wise they may be different, as well as the piping. But would I be able to use a Twin Loop off either an integra or civic? Or does it have to come off a 5th gen lude specifically? Appreciate any input, thanks.

PS - I don't wanna know about the OBX, I've already researched all that. I'm talking only Mugen Twin Loop.

Re: Mugen Twin Loop

Ive herd that you have to make some modifications to the underside of the car to get them to fit.And like TypeT said if u weld it. The twin loops do look badass though.

Re: Mugen Twin Loop

I'd obviously have to weld it if it was made for another car. My question isn't can I stick one on there. It's will it WORK? I could weld a kitchen sink down there as long as I could make it fit, but that doesn't mean it will work properly.

Sorry if I'm I seem a little fired up, but I'd like a more intelligent and informed answer than just 'weld it'. Thank you

Re: Mugen Twin Loop

Call Mugen and ask their support dept. And like I said from what Ive been told you have to do some modifications to the underside of the car where the muffler would sit.

Re: Mugen Twin Loop

After doing some searching on here it seems most people have had it weld right up and only one talked about having to move some hangers etc.

of course if you get muffler which is for another car you have to cut the piping off and make new one to match your exhaust. then new hangers to match your car's points.

use your common sense. you have to weld new piping/hangers to make it fit

otherwise this is pretty stupid question. there is universal mufflers out there which can be installed at this same way.
when you cut the axle back piping off from mugen or any back muffler it leaves it to be "universal" as well

Thanks, so that's using any Mugen Twin Loop even off a non-Prelude?

Are you a frickin' moron? How about you read and UNDERSTAND my posts before you just chime in with weld it, cuz that seems to be the only answer you have to any thread concerning exhausts.

I am NOT asking how to make this, or any other muffler fit. I'm asking will it work properly (am I gonna get error codes, mess up emissions, lose power/back pressure etc.) Two totally different concepts here.

Think before you reply to a post, otherwise you're just gonna give another stupid answer

Re: Mugen Twin Loop

Error code prob not, emissions should be fine with just a muffler, as for power are you replacing a stock muffler? going cat back? full exhaust? u may feel a little gain with just a muffler. powers going to depend on what your other mods are. the main thing is to like the sound and look. do an advanced search use search title and I just put in "twin loop" their were several threads.

U can weld it to your exhaust but it wont make any sound at all. Your car will be completely quiet. So no. It will not work with your car. Lololollol

Please elaborate why this won't work?

Can't tell if serious..

TS-Why do you want the Mugen? Because you want Mugen parts or because you are looking for performance? If it's the latter you are better off with something else.

Also I think I know someone with a Prelude Mugen exhaust and he doesn't want it anymore do to the piss poor performance for that much money..

Thank you for confirming that you are an idiot. Yes stupid people do give stupid answers. I guess I shouldn't blame you for being dyslexic and not being able to understand simple questions. You're feebleness is no longer needed, go back to your hole.
