I like the look man. Just remember plasti-dip doesn't like being pressure washed!

its a paint that has rubber in it, so when it dries it just sticks to the surface. then you can just peel it off when you dont want it anymore.

I think you can it in home hardware stores...I need to look for some myself.

technically theyre still stock, all he would have to do is peel it a bit then pressure wash the rest off.

It's a rubberized coating that you can put on tools; for instance if you have a pair of pliers that only have metal on the handles/grips, you can dip the handles into plasti-dip, then you have a much comfier rubber grip.

As of lately, ppl have been experimenting with other uses, such as painting plastic trim, wheels, even entire cars (the story of the G35 guy that tried power-washing it off )

Re: White Wheels

I plasti-dipped my rims white as well during winter time..

i got mine at ACE Hardware.. Can also find it as Home Depot..

I liked the turn out.. but it sucked washing them.. power washing was fine.. didnt do any damage (i did out on about 4 coats tho)...

But once they get dirty, its a different ball game, the dirst sticks to the rubber coating and you have to literally use elbow grease to get it out lol.. had to scrub the sh!t outta them!

So after a few months of them on, i finally decided to peel it off :) .. Yes, it lasted all thru my winter months.. about 2.5 months.. good stuff nonetheless.. thinkin about doing it again to be honest.. but who knows..

Re: White Wheels

A good 4 or 5 coats, building up the layers with maybe 10-15 minutes in between each one

Re: White Wheels

I like it on your car.

Now go armor all the $h1t out of them and report back in a month telling us if that was a good dirt repelent or not.
Maybe nu finish, tr3 or some kinda synto wax would repel dirt...
