New Owner: Brief Introduction

What's up guys, new owner here!

Just bought my prelude this past saturday and spent the rest of the weekend working/cleaning it up. Just a brief intro, first car was a 2007 Lexus IS350, traded in 09 for a 2000 Lexus GS300, still have it and planning on a 2JZGTE swap here sometime soon. The lude will be my DD until I get a 335i coupe in the summer, so coming really soon!

Well back to the lude, bought it with 159k and as of now, it has been washed, waxed, fresh oil change, clean engine bay, vacuumed, tethered with and has some big plans coming!

The stereo is crap because all of its cheap speakers its been replaced with. The headlights are completely fogged up on the inside from condensation. I would bake it but it's not worth it to me because it's cracked and I plan on just buying JDM headlights with the black housings. Fenders are a little off, passenger side mirror and window don't work, wheels are in terrible condition and last but not least, windows need tint again.

Overall, I'm very happy with the car and ready to learn a lot of new things. Just needs some TLC and it will be just as good as new. I don't have any pictures on dec but I will upload some tomorrow.

Re: New Owner: Brief Introduction

Hey guys, I have pics as promised!

Pics of the IS350, GS300 and Lude. You can see part of my Tundra in one of my pictures.

Took the Lude out for the first time today because I just got my plates today, and all I can say is it still pulls hard for a 160k motor. This weekend I plan on painting my calipers red, hopefully getting tires for those rims (yay nay?), and repainting my window trim. Oh, and hopefully getting new headlights.

1st pic: that was my dad over checking out the car and helping clean the engine. He took it for a spin and stalled because the car has an aftermarket clutch stage 1 :) I don't like it to much, you can't really feel when it grabs and you have to rev it so much higher to get outta gear compared to stock. Also the pedal is much more stiff compared to stock.

2nd pic: popped the wheel off to test fit the 17's I had on my IS350 that have been sitting for two years in my garage. It looks like it will clear but I'm gonna test fit a tire on one this weekend and see how it goes.

3rd pic: My Lex that used to be my daily before the lude since 09'. Has 175k on it and still strong and smooth. Everyone that rides in it doesn't believe me when I say I have that many miles. Hopefully the 2JZGTE swap will start sometime in the next couple months after I get my 335i! :)

4th pic: Just a side view of the lude. You can see that the wheels are pretty beat up. The rear right wheels is so much worse. Plus the car doesn't have matching tires so I wanna change them to some Toyo's hopefully on the 17's.

Re: New Owner: Brief Introduction

When trying to find a brand new car, all I knew was that I wanted a four-door car with cup holders in it. That did not narrow my search very much. After looking at a few automobiles, I decided Honda was the brand that I needed to use.
