type S lip install question

alright, so I got my lip in today...kinda bad condition for what I paid, but at least it's the same color as my car..anyway

I bought the screws+ clips and all is good except the far sides..I'm supposed to drill holes there, i'm guessing self tapping screws but I don't really want to drill anything...

is there anything else I can do to have it fit nicely w/o drilling? the fitment is decent, not as flush as I expected but it's old so I guess I can't complain..

I'm not really sure if 3m tape would be strong enough?

Re: type S lip install question

if I did, and took out the lip in the future to get it painted or what not, would I just use a larger sized screw next time?

Re: type S lip install question

should be able to use the same screw same hole. just drill the hole smaller than the screw so it has something to grip to, and don't overtighten it. If it becomes loose in the future, apply a dab of JB weld to the threads of the screw and reinstall it.

Does that apply to OEM lips as well?
