Build up Euro-R head

Last year I completed an Euro-R swap into my BB6 and after a tune I'm putting down about 210whp. However now I want more power and plan to build the head up. I've been looking into cams and the skunk2 pros level 2 look pretty good. Then I saw the bisi's and started to consider them. I keep searching the forum and can't find anyone that has used them and given a review on their performance. Anyone have any suggestions on which set I should get?

Re: Build up Euro-R head

Doesn't JUN make some H22A stuff? That company is very reliable in the Nissan world. They've built a couple 1,000+ whp Skylines. Maybe Supras. Whatever.

Where did you get your Euro-R head at? And I would go with the Jun cams. From what I've read, they come with a pretty big price tag tho.

Re: Build up Euro-R head

I bought an Euro-R motor a couple years ago from a vendor and decided to put it in last summer cause the rings were fried in my original h22. I saw the JUN cams but like others have said they're a little pricey. If the gains are better though I may just go with them instead.

Re: Build up Euro-R head

Old tech isn't necessarily bad though. The shop I'm having do the work and tune suggested the skunk2 pros to go with the itb's I plan to purchase.

Re: Build up Euro-R head

It's really up to you and the shop. Both will perform well. The JUN are worth the extra coin, though. I've never heard of anybody complain about JUN products. Be sure to select the right cams based on what you're planing to do with the engine. Turbo builds will require different cams than N/A builds and so forth.
