98 prelude new owner.

Just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Chris. Im from Arkansas. Im 30 years old.

I just picked up a 98 lude on ebay for 1201.00. Am getting it shipped to me as I type this so hopefully by the end of the week I will be able to post some good pics of how thrashed it is.

I have been wanting a Lude for about 6-7 years now and havent been able to afford one. But I thankfully work at an independant Honda shop and so have had pleanty to torture me over those years as well as a few that belonged to the shop so I could keep fixing them and enjoying them while we had them till they were sold.

Recently we resurrected 2 of them 1 that I took as a trade in with a blown motor. We swapped in a h22a and frankensteined the transmission for better gas mileage. (We have now spent about 8200 on this resurrection, plus the car and still have to do the body work).

The second was a 93 4ws that was at a wrecking yard that said it had a major P/S leak. Turned out it was a balancer shaft seal out of it. It took some interior pieces, 4ws repair, and timing belt to get it back on the road. No body work needed(but it does suffer from a 499 mako paint job)

But I finally got my own Lude to fix up now. This is the ebay listing if the link works lol. In case anyone wants to see what im starting with before I get the car here to take better pics of it.

Sorry for a long intro but just wanted to share who I am and what I do.

Can't really complain for that price. Can't wait to see what you do with it.

Re: 98 prelude new owner.

I finally got my lude home to me on Saturday. So I am gonna check it out today and upload some better pics of it so everyone can see what kinda pile of crap I bought to start out with. Then I will follow it up with a build thread.
