there are endless posts about the ebay projector headlights. they all say the same thing:

They look really cool, but in reality...THEY ARE CRAP 99% OF THE TIME! They are cheaper than the ones made by honda so obviously their quality will be lower. Much lower. The light output is minimal, and often times even adjusting them proves to be an impossible task. I had them on my accord and the "step" on one of the lights was scattered and unfocused. The halo rings tend to burn out very quickly as well. It's unfortunate b/c they do look really cool.
IMO, I recommend replace w/ oem or retrofit.

Are you asking me a question?

They are the same. Look at the CCFLs and the two bars between them as well as the three LEDs.

It's tricky, but there are at least two shots of each one in each picture. Combine them all up to form a good picture of each one then compare the two.

They are indeed the same light.

they're all stupid. spend the money and do it right the first time, until then be patient. Trust me you will end up doing retrofits eventually.

I used to work in the parts deparment at a body shop and insurance companys will try first to put depot or aftermarket stock parts on but I spent sooooo much time doing paperwork for returns because 85% of the time they fit like ****. Not just bad fitment but they'd be missing mount brackets, corners wouldnt be shaped right. Buy oem Honda fenders or get them off a parts car. Then get some retrofit projectors.

he asked what we thought, and we are telling him FROM EXPERIENCE that not only do both of the parts have HORRIBLE fitment and will look like poop, but also the quality of them are extremely sub-par: i.e. VERY poor light output with the headlights, etc etc.

but do what you want, its your car

I've never bought ebay projectors just cause I've read other people's experiences. They're not built to any standard so you really don't know what your getting. Stick to metal fenders. They're safer and not worth the minimal weight reduction to get fiberglass.

have any pics? I was told the aftermarket projectors may not be safe w/ hids b/c they are not designed to handle the extreme temps. I have no idea how credible that statement is though.
