Parts place

Ok. I saw a commercial for this place and was wondering if anyobdy had any experience with the company RockAuto.com? I went on there and say a replacement turn signal for like $22 bucks shipping. I just wanted to see if anybody has worked with them?

Re: Parts place

they seem to have a good rep. 22$ for a turn signal + shipping?? seems low, even if I bought my yellow JDM fog lights for 60$. Keep looking try to find a better known place to buy car parts off. Even if you save a couple $$ you wouldn't want it to break in the next week or so.

Re: Parts place

i and a few of my friends use them to order american spec car parts because they're like the cheapest place that will ship to APO addresses. haven't had a single problem with their parts yet. neither have my friends.

Re: Parts place

I've used rock auto many times and they usually ship very fast. Out of three things I ordered, I got two of them the next week, and one took three weeks, but it was back ordered but that was clearly stated on the site.

Re: Parts place

I've used them quite a bit. They've always been fast, and usually the cheapest. However, sometimes Majestic Honda is cheaper, especially if you're replacing control arms.

Re: Parts place

Rockauto is one of my favorites. Most of the time they're the cheapest, and I get the parts in 2-3 days max. Can't say enough good things about them.

I'm glad you posted this thread because rockauto seems to be the only place I'm able to find suspension components for a good price

Re: Parts place

That's the best place to get car parts imo. They're always cheap, and I haven't received any substandard parts from them. Plus they have EVERYTHING (almost).

Re: Parts place

Great site with really fast shipping. Just be wary that some parts are better to order OEM. I got a Ignition Control Module for RockAuto and it caused my car to stall and die on the expressway. Most of their stuff is legit though. Got my Felpro Head Gasket set from there and its been flawless thus far.

For some reason, Hondas are nationalistic when it comes to electrical parts -- they only like Japanese components. All the parts I've ever seen in the Rock Auto catalog are from well-known automotive parts manufacturers; you just have to know what works.
