A/C components???

My wife and I just bought a 97 prelude that has some basic bolt on parts...this is my first Honda (she is the import chick, I'm a hot rod type of guy) I have a pretty good knowledge of most cars and do about anything myself. My problem is this: the car has a full header, AEM tru power pulleys and a new aftermarket aluminum radiator. For one reason or another they have taken all the a/c components off of the car, except for the aluminum canister there close to the radiator. So my question is this...what all componets am I missing besides the obvious: pump, lines, condenser? I believe hondas have a separate condenser fan assembly? Also will any of the other bolt ons interfere with the air conditioning like the pulleys or header or even radiator? Also does the pump use brackets or bolt to the motor? My wife really likes this car and we plan on keeping it a while since it only has 112,000 miles, but she says she can't take another car without a/c ( her last car was a full on track car. A built, boosted DSM) Thanks!

Re: A/C components???

No, none of those mods SHOULD interfere with the A/C, assuming they're the correct parts.

There's the AC compressor and bracket which bolts to the front of the block right underneath the alternator. Than two hardlines coming straight up from the compressor right on top of the header. One line goes to the condenser, which goes in front of the radiator, than to the silver canister next to the condenser, than do a hardline going back to the firewall. The other line off the compressor meets the first line around the same area, and if the previous owner did a half-ass job of taking the AC out like I did, I simply disconnected the hardlines at the fittings right underneath the air intake. Look under the intake to see if you see two hardlines just ended.

And yes, there's also another rad fan for the AC which also goes on the back of the rad, so there should be two fans.
