Seperating the driverside transaxle from the intermed shaft?

Im having problems seperating the driverside transaxle from the intermed shaft can anyone help?

it's just held in by a snap ring. you just have to give it a good yank. if not, try a pry bar.

Be careful...I got stitches from a pry bar trying to get my da integra intermediate shaft out...I was waiting in the lobby bleeding to death eating double cheeseburgers from McDonalds..lol

after I replaced mine I had to take it out again cuz the outer boot was defective and it would NOT come out with any amount of jerking with a pry bar.. so taking it out and beating it with a hammer worked.

use a decent sized hammer and tap it the inner cup right outside where it snaps in and it will come right out .

Yes listen to the last two people remove/ unbolt the intermediate shaft and smack the cv axle where it meets the intermediate shaft with a hammer mine came off with 3 hits.
