Potential new wheels. Question first.

I needed new rubbers and I checked Craigslist and found a guy in my area selling 04 type s wheels with relatively new tires on them for 250.00 I like the look, although I rather have the 17", and I know I may have to sand down the caliper a bit to get them to fit correctly, now other than that, anything else I should know or be worried about.

(yes l did search, and couldn't find a clear answer)

Re: Potential new wheels. Question first.

Uh oh... Model changeover year...

at $250, you can get spacers, H&R are the people to talk to. Are they the Enkei looking rims or the original 16" from the 2001?

Re: Potential new wheels. Question first.

It was strange to me a while back when I looked into those wheels because some people didn't even have to sand down the caliper, while others did.
I know that was random, but might as well say it

Ahhaa. So that's where my confusion was. Either way, I might as well pick them up. If I have to grind the caliper a bit to make them fit it'll still be worth it.
