shifter threads???

im going to make a custom weighted shifter nob and was wondering if anyone knows what the thread numbers are for the 5g. i was thinking they are 10x1.25 but im really not sure. was just looking for some quick help before i thread the nob and do it wrong and have to start over.

Your best bet is to find your nearest pep boys, home depot, or lowes home improvement, go in and take your old shift or shift knob with you. If you have the shifter handle find a nut that fits it perfectly. Just make sure you thread the bolt on carefully.

And the exact opposite if you have the shift knob, find a bolt with threads that look close, and then carefully and slowly turn it. You'll be able to figure out which one is the right one.

Also, it may not hurt to bring both. I can't recall the threading on the knob, and I'm too lazy to look it up. You can probably google it really...
