Timing belt

I am planning on having my timing belt changed and converting to the kaizenspeed manual tensioner. The only problem is I dont know all the parts that I am going to need. I have done some research but want to see all the parts I need and whats recommended.

Thanx

Re: Timing belt

I know most autoparts stores Have "Timing belt kits" you can call the ones around you, and find out which one has the best deal. I got the actual timing belt from Honda just to be safe though.

Re: Timing belt

Go to importrp.com (import replacement part) they got the whole kit for like 89.00 plus shipping. Or you can google h22 manuel tensioner and it will show up and you will know what you need. Not to be a dick but My advice to you before you start a threat is SEARCH.

Re: Timing belt

Do both cam seals, crank seal and if you wan't do the balancer seal (get retainer if you're paranoid of it popping out) also do the waterpump and seal. Probs be easier with the kaizspeed stuff but it's hard sourcing.

If you want to do other stuff along with it you could do the cam cover gasket.

Hope that helped :)

Re: Timing belt

it will but you need the seals and gaskets. I'd recommend getting Dayco, Bosch, oem or something else descent for tbelt.

Re: Timing belt

that'd make no sense because they're both the same side lol, I haven't heard anything like that may be wrong.

I just used after market ones made in japan, forget brand.

Re: Timing belt

just a side note, if your getting the manual tensioner, you do not need the hydraulic one that comes in that kit (unless it comes without it). and you also said your getting an OEM honda timing belt. so your paying for the timing belt and tensioner that you are not going to use
