Hey guys, I have a 1997 h22a4
I just finished doing the Timing belt and all last night. Car starts and idles fine but is rough on acceleration before 3000rpms. I broke the belt off last week at idle and did a leak down with it before puting it back together and had 2% all the way across. Before the belt broke the car did the same thing but the timing belt is dead on now. Also needs a power steering pump. Fairly certain the car was off in timing when I got it but the leak down indicated a loss of only 2% so I do not believe it to be leaky valves. I bought a new cap, rotor, wires, plugs, and power steering pump today but have yet to install them. Any ideas why this would happen, its not all the time but only once in a while. Hoping its not a bent valve but the leak down should have told me that right?
